If you are the family member or friend of a loved on who has passed, we are very sorry for your loss. We know the array of emotions and decisions facing you now. IMS is here to help in any way and we are sorry for your loss. In most cases, IMS will work with one of our agent funeral homes across the US to begin the process of returning your loved one home. 

Once we know the location of the remains, IMS funeral home agents provide the service of picking up your loved one from their place of death (Hospice, home, hospital, etc.) and returning them to their funeral home.  Our funeral home agent will then care for your loved one and begin preparations for transportation.

IMS will make flight arrangements, secure permits, and provide the necessary paperwork to simplify the process and ensure a smooth transport. IMS will work with your local funeral home providing flight itinerary and information regarding your loved one. The end-of-life services desired by your loved one will be provided by your chosen funeral home.
